Hello!
I’m so excited to introduce myself and my practice. I’m Leah (read more about me here). I created Woodhaven Law so that I can continue serving my wonderful clients and develop my dream practice, while also dedicating as much time as possible to my children.
The challenge of balancing career and parenthood is not unique to the practice of law, but I believe this industry is especially challenging in that regard. I have been told multiple times that you can’t practice law part time, but I take exception to that. I am, and it’s working out just fine!
Now that I’m at the helm of a business for the first time in my life, I have immersed myself in learning all of the things that entails. It’s daunting. It’s challenging. It’s exciting! I have worked as a contract lawyer for other firms over the years, but I’ve never felt any sense of pride or ownership in the firms I worked for. I’ve always felt limited in my ability to tailor my practice to exactly the clients I want to work with. I’ve never had the freedom to market myself without any censors. As a contract lawyer, I would just fit myself into the image of the firm I was working for. But not anymore. It’s all me now, and that is so liberating!
Hellooo alignment. Hello, dream clients. It’s so nice to meet you, and I just can’t wait to work with you! Please check out my business services and estate services and if you sense alignment with me, I would love to hear from you!
